Blind shipping orders

Post by PaulB »

When you are blind shipping an order and you did not / forgot to select or change the ship to address (the ship to is the same as the bill to.) would you like a pop up reminder that you are shipping a blind ship order to the bill to address every time the order is saved?

Your thoughts please

Yes pls! It does not happen often but we have had occasions where we have mistakenly shipped an order back to our customer, not the drop ship address that they wanted it shipped to.

Will this verbiage work for you?

Assuming that if I select No then it takes you back to the order edit screen where I can enter a different shipping address or remove the blind ship label, then yes, that dialog would work fine.

This pop up box shows every time you hit the save button on an order if the conditions are true. If you say no it does not save the order. This includes when you hit the ship button. If you say "No" then the order will not save or ship. If you say yes then it will do both.
