Flex improvement

Matt, Mike told me you had experimented with a way to condense text automatically in the Flex designer but were not satisfied with the outcome. Honestly, that is the only reason we have not setup many of our products with Flex. Is there any way you can revisit that enhancement? Feel free to contact me should you need a "guinea pig" to test or to get feed back.
